Router For High Speed Connection

| I use a router to share my Rogers High Speed connection. I updated the firmware on it recently and now my internet stops working every so often forcing me to unplug the router and then plug it back in to get it working again. What can I do to fix this? BTW I have a Netgear RP614 Router hooked up to 2 computers and my cable modem and I'm running Windows XP Professional. |

Sounds familiar to a problem I've been having, except its the cable modem thats going out. I sometimes have to unplug and plug it back in for it to reconnect.
Perhaps you can flash the firmware back to the version you were using before. |

| its happened to me before too, i just reset the router to factory default settings. |
