How many agree that Vincent de Moor a better producer than Tiësto ? (pg. 3)

And to answer the topic starters question, I thik VDM, like everyone else said, has more complex songs. Diff layers, etc. Tiesto tends to just use the loop button, which isn't necessarily bad, but sometimes gets annoying after awhile. True, they have been successful, but isn't he getting tired of the same formula? |

YaleTrance's posts are great. They're pretty much the same as everyone elses (that has a clue of course) but made about 50 times as long, and throws in some long words and without fail manages to write something about his great education in music.

Thanks guys. Sorry if I sound arrogant sometimes, that's what happens when someone ticks me off. :p
Anyways, I have no interest in downplaying VdM's work. I actually enjoy some of his tracks, even if they are not my cup of tea. Stuff like Nexus Asia and Crystal Clouds doesn't seem to impress me that much, even if they are more "layered" than the typical Tiesto track. Over-layering is easy to do(to the point that producers try to stress this in order to sound more progressive, which in turn is just pretentious because it sounds forced), minimalism and subtleties in the buildup/breakdowns are underrated. This is why I would call Traffic or Nyana more deep, soulful and original tracks than anything VdM has ever done. But hey, that's just my opinion. |

Uhhh Yeah and how old are you:rolleyes::rolleyes: I don't think you have heard of collaberations like Kamaya Painters and Gouryella also he has done lots of solo productions and not to talk about his remixes!!!
Tiesto made lots of good productions and remixes!!! IMO he def beats VDM not that he hasn't made any good tracks but Tiesto made a lot more good tracks!!!!! |
