incase some people don't know what "ave maria" means (i didn't) here is the definition
ave maria
\A"ve Ma*ri"a\, Ave Mary \A"ve Ma"ry\ [From the first words of the Roman Catholic prayer to the Virgin Mary; L. ave hail, Maria Mary.] 1. A salutation and prayer to the Virgin Mary, as mother of God; -- used in the Roman Catholic church.
That being said i'm not very partial to this song =( |

Indeed, Ave Maria = Hail Mary ... Very common (in fact, mandatory) in choarl pieces, aria's, etc.
Schubert's and Bach/Gound(sp?) being the more mainstream popular pieces - though Andain's track/melody bares no similarity to them... |

good ear! we have mavie imitating a church boys choir, singing a 4 part arrangement of the traditional ave maria.
