can somebody tell me what is a .cue file?
what's this for mp3?
plz explain.
sorry.i know it's a stupid question.
but i just dont know it........

thanx.........^^

ps.
vision
any cd can be ripped into bin/cue files. its mostly used for warez. the bin file is the huge file that contains all the data and the cue file in generally sets all the options so you can burn the cd.

just open the cue file you have in any basic text editor (notepad) to see what cd it came from. im not sure what a cue file has to do w/ mp3's unless it describes the cd the mp3's were ripped from...

hope this helps
Eugene
A .CUE file specifies how a continuous mix should be broken down into tracks.

For example when you listen to a mixed CD you can fast-forward to a song you like, right? For that, the mix must be "split" into separate .WAV files, corresponding to separate tracks. .CUE files specify the position and time of each track.

It's a plain text (ASCII file).
