so this is the butterfly secret... i only go out to hear trance music on rare occasions. my real passion is breakbeats and sometimes drum and bass. so how is that scene out there? or techhouse even? i love danny howells in particular... i know he only got to the west coast for the first time last year.

If you love Danny Howells, then I suggest you ask the people on the 1015 message board. Lot of DH freaks on there. I post on there quite a bit under "EvilDaveT" (It's an EzBoard, and it's the only thing with "DaveT" I could think of that wasn't already being used :p)

The peeps on that board are real nice and cool to all newcomers, so finding out what you want to know should be no problem if you ask there.

BTW, Danny just played here a few weeks ago on a Yacht party.

i hope they healed ok... my ankles got real weak this summer and every time i tripped i'd get a minor sprain. i started carrying an ankle brace in my pocketbook for nights when i expected heavy dancing...

They are slowly recovering. It's a high ankle sprain and they take weeks to recover from....At some points it still bothers me, but I can dance w/ no problem for some reason. It mainly bothers me still when I try to run or going up/down stairs.

I messed up the ligaments running down stairs...ankle just gave out on me :( Thought I tore my achilles tendon (I've torn both of mine before) again, but x-rays just shows some strained ligaments and all.

ah. my sprains werent high. advice for dancing - sprains heal faster with pressure so if you are going to dance or run on it, tape it or put an ankle brace on. you can get one from the pharmacy for like $10.

Yep yep....I have braces both from the doctor and from Walgreens. :p

Both my parents have medical backgrounds (father when he was in the military, and mother is a traveling RN these days, but used to manage ERs and stuff), so I got the "put pressure on it" lecture from them.

Thanks for the tip, though :p
