I have seen this new shiny 1210 availible on the Technics website. Here it is:

Semi glossy black w/ gold speckle finish
+-8% and 16% Pitch selection w/ 2 columns of LED on the side of th epitch slider that lights up: 2/4/6/8 or 4/8/12/16
Blue LED pop up light
6 on anti-skate
Easier to adjust break
Silver headshell

| my bud has 2. great decks to play on if you can afford them. and they look nice too. the blue led is pretty sweet. |

| m3d with a few more bells and whistlesct ... and honestly the fact that you have to buy the top model technics to get more than +/-8% pitch shift is ing attrocious |

| Ah, ok. Cheers for clearing that up guys. Agreed about the pitch though Robert... someone might even be tempted to get PDX-2300's if the world wasn't pro Technics :D |

If I'd live in america, I'd go for them too, but here, it's a little bit of money for a turntable...
Here, you pay 650€ for one MK5...(750$). I baught myself an ST100 yesterday. It'll arrive on saturday, cant wait :) |

| I think there about £350 in the UK, so about the same in $ as the U.S. |

| i bought 2 1200mk2's a year ago, replaced the tonearm on one of them, and still going strong. they were 400$ a piece from musiciansfriend.com back then. Am I missing anything with 1200mk2 over something higher? |
