Back to the topic at hand, I'm not much of a hip-hop guy but I do like songs by Dialated Peoples, and I do not believe they are too mainstream. (not sure if they are underground or whatever though)

Im not sure what you mean of "underground"...I'm assuming hip hop that you won't hear on the radio or TV...hip hop you actually have to look for to appreciate rather than thrown at you like these songs on the radio and MTV...
