Haslam? arghhhh nooo, hes good but hes not THAT good, certainly not good enough to remix this - id say it needs a Glazby remix but he already did 'Dreams' which has the same melody as Gamemaster!
it says on the offical release its a Guyver remix though which is confusing? is it Haslam or Guyver?:conf: |

Dreams was originally done in '93 by Quench and remade my Miss Shiva (produced by the guys of Sunbeam in late '99/2000) i think. Matt just wanted to use a 99.9 % similar sound in Gamemaster. |

| OMG! I must hear this, Gamemaster is still probally my favorite song, and it is the song that got me into trance. (thank you Oakey for Tranceport). |

| oh my, can't believe you guys don't like this? matt has done an absolutly fantastic job! he has kept the elements that made the original so good, but just given it a more pumping 2003 baseline! |

i have to agree with Ande in some parts...even though this song has some bad factors but remember not all remakes sound good so treat this review as a remake review with low expectations...
BUT Matt Darey even said that he is taking the HARDER!! approach back up the ladder so he has lost that beautiful touch he was famous for...
6/10 for this remix.
BUT his remake of Li Kwan - Point Zero is a totally different story, 9/10 for that. |
