Got my first ever warning at work today, feel a bit like now. Skipped out of work when my boss was away, she found out. Was for an interview which is a fireable offence (i later discovered) My own fault, moral of the story dont lie it bollox up your trust. I dont want to work here anymore really but can't help feeling like , i work with good people. Need the income to try and do stuff i actually want to do. Hmmm seem stuck in a hole right now, i really just wanna go home n play on my decks.
Any jobs going anywhere in record shops or as coffee bitch for trance producers please pm me i need to get out of here. |

Its nothing to feel about trust me. I got up to my final warning in the last place I worked. You will find they never pick on the weak chracters in offices, I'm a strong person and the other people at my work who all got warnings were strong people too, I suppose you just stand out more really.
Its a thing, my old supervisor and manager had it in for me over 3 and a half months it was like I couldn't do nothing right, my work was brilliant and I made the account I worked on three times more effiencent, I admit I mucked around and chatted but I did work aswell.
However all this wasn't good I got busted for my attitude all the time, and I didn't even have an attitude at all, well compared to some other people in the office one person who near enough caused munity between workers and supervisors every few days, and another person who muttered stuff back when told to do something, these two people never got in trouble but I did? weird eh. I was lucky because the manager quit after 2 months and the superviser moved down 4 floors into another department. I got promoted and got moved to a better department and I literally took the piss but I did my job.
I'm not trying to install fear into you but be very cautious with who you trust in your office, as with my written warning two people who I thought were alright, grassed me up and turned out to be nothing but window licking corperate arselickers.
If you want to get out of there, just get interviews sorted and get out, however if you want to keep there best advice I can give you is keep your head down, if your boss is a complete psycho like mine was no doubt they'll watch you for a while and just wait for you to make a minor mistake, but I doubt anyone could be as psycho as my ex boss.
Best of luck though, just keep strong. |

i wouldnt worry about it too much.. its ur first informal warning and u generally get 3 warnings before firing.. next time u have an interview, tell ur work, they they should be alright with u having a morning off or whatever for an interview :) |
