Avi to DVD converter

You can convert them to either (s)vcd or dvd
SRP-ReAlign
I always use the TMPG-Encoder for converting avis to VCDs or SVCDs (you cannot convert avis "directly" to VCDs or SVCDs, but to the mpg or mpeg format. This format is the "source"file for burn programs to create VCDs or SVCDs; mpg is an file extension that can be read by computers only).

But chosing this encoder would make no sense if you are not familiar with all the options you can (or better said: must) chose. You should know all about the specific bitrates and resolutions. So I would not recommend this program to anyone who is completely new to video encoding. The best way you can do is to study the FAQs and tutorials.

Greetings Chris
