best system to run finalscratch on . . .

I'm interested in getting FinalScratch, but i want to install it on a separate system, a laptop preferably. who has the program and what kind of computer are you using? Does the processor speed/RAM matter alot? Also, will the program run as a standalone boot disk or do you have to have a version of windows running for the install?

| Ur laptop must be running linux or MacOS for it to work. It will not run on windows unfortunately |

Faster laptop, better response time.
You need Windows installed to transfer music files to the laptop, and make sure your mp3s are on a FAT32 partition.
You can run the FS CD as boot CD or install it permanently(much better way to do it). |

I just quickly wanted to add another few questions to this thread . . . what is the difference between version 1.0 and 1.1? Tracktor? what is tracktor? also, is the new one buggier . . . ive heard rumors. |
