Oopsy.... Ecstacy Damage Research WRONG!!! (pg. 2)

The government makes ridiculous amounts of money from taxing tobacco. They also tax alcohol which means more money so that they can spend like 1% of it on anti-smoking campaigns so it looks like they care. If the majority of drugs were legalised and quality controlled and taxed by the government it would decrease overdoses as well as deaths and allowed people to freely make up their mind about drug use. And don't tell me this wouldn't work coz it does in certain countries already. We just need a less conservative government. Drug control is censorship on another level.

Duuurrrrrrrrr i have brain?

No seriously, i feel e's do have an effect on your brain in the short term that is. Most people just dont understand it thats all. People who think that smoking pot leads to you ending up in some dark alley smoking crack have NFI what they are talking.

The way i feel is that its just a passing stage in life. Drugs have been around in society since that dawn of man. I mean flaming bush, walking on water...they must have been tripping hard back then.

I feel the only reason the governments thenk it is bad is because of Vietnam and the 60's. Everyone was smoking pot all day long as it opened there minds to the world around and they spoke out against the government and a shift in power happened. No longer was the government making policy on what it thought, but rather the people started to have some say in what was going on. It was only really after the 70's that all these 'new rights' groups emerged.

I think the governments feel threatened by us and our PLUR views on things and such they feel they are lossing there edge. Thats why there seems to have been such a crackdown on drugs and raves etc lately.

Thats my conspiricy theory for the day:tongue3

WERD! You cant tell me people that go out and take E's every weekend are in the same mental condition and awareness as people who dont. Seriously, dramatically incresing the endorphins in your brain like that is unnatural, and can only do your brain damage.

ANd about Pot, and those idiots that say it has no long term effect. You idiot. Come to Katoomba or Nimbin and just observe. Don;t try to talk to them, you might laugh too hard!

If you do a search on the net looking for info on it; which if you plan on doing it you should do, you'll find 85% of tests done on it suggest that 'E' doesn't do anywhere near the damage that is suggested. Only in it's most purist form though. It is the it's cut with that does the damage.

Anyone who says it doesn't affect your brain has no idea what there talking about. 'E' works by firing off your Endorphins in your brain like firecrackers(which can't be all that good for you), hence the peaking sensation that we all love and pay for the next day. However "E' in it's purist form does as much damage as serious weekend bender.

You get the problems with brain lag and likes by not giving your body enough time to recover.Hence the people who drop all time have alot more problems.

Anyway, the moral of this story- Drugs are bad, um kay....

Your only here for a short time so you may aswell enjoy yourself.....

lol

anyway seems to me that all the evidence suggests that taking E in moderation will have no or very little longterm effect

I think if you are doing multiple pills every week though then you gotta think its gonna have some long term effects

Ecstasy, Cocaine, Mary J, all those are non taxable drugs...

Alcohol and smoking is... so they can get revenue out of it.. thats just how plain n simple it really is...

If you speed with a car... you will either die or not die.. same with drugs.. do them and you take that risk... but ask yourself.. is that risk worth it for that 1/4 hr fix?
