Hi :happy2:
Im new here..and not to sure how it all works...but ive been lookin about on the net searching, and clubbing about, in vain at most times it seems, for some sort of trance info/culture in sydney..Cuz i love trance, though dont know of many places to go to hear it (though, alternativley, i can go anywhere around with my headphones embedded in my ears which suffices most of the time). SO i guess im hoping you guys/girls can give some info on where to go and all that or even of DJ's that do the rounds at particular places that are dedicated to trance (not so much hardcore but progressive/melodic/uplifting)....
ANYWAY thats it....see how this goes..
theme song at the moment that best describes my situation: as the rush comes .."travelling somewhere..could be anywhere.."

Lets see for Trance you cant go past Halcyon, though on the 20th youve got Pulser and Garath Emery (aka GTR) as well at Progress.....
For Prog you want Sweetchilli...... nuff said!
Unfortunately theres no really good weekly events anymore, but a couple of fixes a month should hopefully help to satisfy your cravings.... :) |

GAS nightclub is the place to be most of the time - Pitt St City opp. Central Station --> HALCYON next friday night as you have heard.
Home nightclub - friday/ saturday nights - cockle bay / darling harbour.
Tank nightclub - one of my fav's but not so trancey - more house
theres others - but theyre the main ones to look out for
others include Tantra - PLASTIC nights, ice box - kings X (not my type), YU - Victoria St Darlinghurst (also mainly house music), umm cant be bothered thinking of anymore - make it to Halcyon it will go off the heazy!!

nothing more can really be said. Firstly welcome, secondly come 2 Halcyon.
waXology from here will be DJing as Cameron O'Shea at Halcyon. Halcyon is where we all go :) starts as prog trance and flies on up to the clouds and doesn't come down till the club is closing.
Front row is where we will be. Tshirts are coming, takes time ;)
