Updated and added a few things now that I'm back from tokyo
For those of you under 21 and looking to go see Hybrid...they are playing at Kelly's Mission Rock for Hollowfest. Coolworld is running the event, so it might be 18+ ... but most events held at KMR are 21+. The site for the event is having trouble, so I can't tell ya right now.

Always look at 1015.com first. If a HUGE (I mean HUGE) DJ is playing and they have pre-sale tickets going through there, buy them through there...they usually link you to UrbanEvents through their site - I repeat, I suggest using them whenever a HUGE DJ is playing (other times, not necessary).
The reason why is because the last couple of times a HUGE DJ has played (last one being Paul van Dyk), those who purchased their tickets on Urban Events got to skip those in line who are getting in after buying their tickets on Groove Tickets....and everyone buys their stuff through GT. |

Definately not the best sound In the West, In San Francisco and Bay Area, most definately, but in the West there are by far much better sounding clubs out there, Club RED :D, The New Avalon aka Hollywood Palace, just to name a few.
Butterfly, Richi is also playing in LA on Nov 08, 2003, make a weekend out of it in SoCal, Nov 7th Mauro Picotto at RED and Nov 8th Richi Hawtin at Spundae.

I'll go by what the sound professionals who review the systems say. I've heard people tell me that 1015 has the best sound in SF, when I can name like 10 places with better sound!
Anyhow, waiting for the magazine to review the new Avalon, they have reviewed ClubReds (which they say is great, but don't refer to it as it possibly being the best), and I'm also waiting for them to review Ice in Vegas....which apparently is better than the Mezzanine's sound (It also has a custom Funktion 1 system, but with twice the wattage and in half the space). |

wow, they rated us already? hehehe, our system is still being broken in!!! Remember it is a Brand New State of the art custom made sound system packing 50,000watts RMS of raw power, :D , they should come back and do another review when Picotto comes to town on Nov 07th, 2003 and the sound system will be broken in by then. Then we'll see. Many already are saying that RED has much better sound then Spundae-LA, and it is definately much better than Spundae-SF! I'd have to go to Mezannine at least few more times to really compare to RED! Anyways Dave, I sent you a pm! |
