Hey guys, I am new to the group. Quick questions..........
1) does anyone know where I could find pictures of the Ultra Beach Festival in Miami?
and...
2) This is gonna sound a lil crazy and off the wall, but if any of you on this list are 25 or older and live in the Tri county area of Florida (West Palm, Broward, Dade) would you be intrested in a road trip to Baltimore, MD to go to Starscape??
The thing is that a have about 3 other individuals who want to go with me, but we would have to rent a car and all of us are above the age of 21 but under 25. It costs madd money to rent a car if you are under 25 and even if 5 or 6 of us went on this trip, it would be over our budget, not including gas and a ticket to the event itself.
However, if we can find someone who is 25 the cost would be cut about 60%. Sooooooooooo if you like road trips and are not a flaky type person and can be there to pick up the car with me, email me ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!. If someone is intrested all you have to do is pay for your ticket to the event and that is it. The rest of us will pay for gas and .
Ummmmm yeah, sorta an odd request, but I am running out of options.

your crazy.
just fly up there, it will cost you just as much if not less for renting a car and putting all the gas in it.
or if thats too much go greyhound. bus tickets will definatly be alot cheaper than renting a car and driving up.

Yeah I sorta wanna do the roadtrip thing myself. It is very expensive to rent, but it still would be expensive to buy a plane ticket also. Plus, not everyone will have the money to buy a plane ticket now. They would have the most of the money by the time we get ready for the trip.
I don't give a if I have to take the bus. It would be cheaper but a pain in th e ass. Plus, one person already said "hell no" about taking the bus. I don't really wanna go alone either. Grrrrrrrrrrr this sucks.
Florida sucks..........so whoever said that they wished they were in FL, well I'd rather be in LA partying. L.A. parties are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better than FL parties by far!!!!

you gotta have the bling bling tho. and a car. to take advantage of it all.
all i've heared is good things about the florida party scene. i was in miami for ultra 2 years ago. insanity.
i'm hoping to go again this year.
but yeah road trips are more fun.
but good luck. just get bus tickets. its the cheapest way to go.
take the bus up there. party all night long, grab some breakfast. jump back on the morning bus sleep all the way home. |

well parties in miami are waaaaaaaaaaaay more crazy then detroit parties. i might need a few million more "a"s:D |

it used to have a huge scene.
but detroit style isn't really my thing. too hard.
Necto in Ann Arbor is a pretty cool club. they bring in some big names. I htink AvB and Seb Fontaine among many others are coming in in hte next few weeks. |

Yeah I love ULTRA but you guys have not seen our scene lately. Besides the annual massives, parties have gone downhill in the past year. Everytime the try to throw something in Miami, it either almost gets cancelled b/c the mayor does not want that type of attention for supporting the music scene or they have to chang venues.
Every ing party is breaks, jungle, or DnB and it gets old after a while. There is no variety anymore in parties. Also, there are a lot less all ages evetns as well, which I think is a bad thing since these youngins' are going to be the one to carry the torch for us when we get older and not as involved in the scene as when we were in are teens and twenties. So now the youngs are missing out and getting into other scenes, which is gonna create a gap of party goers in the future.
All the good music and big names are almost only available to the 21 and up clubs and for a hefty rate to see one headliner. Also, you have to get dressed up for this , and I don't see why anyone would want to dance in heals and sweat while their face is caked in makeup. I prefer my baggy pants and a sports bra...Sigh......I hope the scene bounces back by next year. I know that MD is now recovering fromt their drought which lasted a year. We will see.
Does anyone know when Popsicle will be hosted this year in San Fran?? I need to buy my tickets to head over there cuz I wanna go to that particular event, but I was told that the date is gonna be totally different then the time it was held this pass year. Lemme know.

Yeah the Necto is awesome, it's not a huge club but it is where i first saw PVD, april-10-03. Can't believe you've heard of it living in LA. |

i'm actually from st. louis, now i'm living in LA.
one of my good friends go to u mich in ann arbor, so thats how i know about necto.
i was up there for the DEMF this summer

yeah its sorta the same thing here in LA. i think the scene has been going down hill all over the US lately.
LA still has its fair share of good parties and such here and there.
if you wanna go see a big name DJ tho its almost always 21 and up.
The only time i think i've seen an 18 and up show, that wasn't some big massive type event, was Sasha at the Palace. awsome show.
pretty much all the big DJ's come in for Spundae events and those are all 21+ . most of the people always dress up and such trying to show off. its LA its full of that sorta thing.
but all around i have a good time. don't do as much clubbing partying as i'd like but its still a good spot if you got the dough to spend. and your 21 |

Well looks like I am flying to Baltimore. I don't want to deal with this bull. Whoever wants to come with me can ing meet me there. Crap, I got a nacho chip stuck between my tooth an gum. Sorta hurts =(
