Hi,
I am looking to buy a notebook computer. Which is better? a Celeron 2.0Ghz or a Athlon 2200+ processor. I know the P4 may be better, but these are my choices for now.

What programs will you be using on it?

I'd have thought an Athlon would be better, but that's purely based on the fact that the word 'Celeron' sounds a bit like 'celery', and that's bad.

Celerons and Athlons are completely different architecture. A celeron is a cut down pentium and a duron is a cut down athlon. ur better off comparing athlons and pentiums or durons and celerons :)

Athlon for sure
