i saw on the "master list" that shes suposed to come to guv next weekend or something
is she coming?

what are other techno events that are happening in TO soon??

As far as i know, she'll be headlining the Spin Saturday for the night of Sept. 27th w/Mark Oliver. Should be interesting to:
a.) hear how MO opens for the Misstress
b.) how MB sounds on the massive sound system!!! |

She won't be in KH. Guv's website shows that Shawn Desman is "performing" in there that night.
Check her website: www.iturnem.com .
I'd believe something from her website before I'd believe something on Guv's anyways. |

Has Spin Saturday ever had two special guests in one night? If Lee and MB both play the same night, it might be a interesting contrast in styles.

I agree. I saw that on the balance site and didn't know what to think of it...
as much as I adore Barbara, she really needs the time to build something - like 3 or 4 hours, at least. The last times I've heard her in TO have been short, and disappointing, compared to what I've heard her thrown down in Montreal.
I can't wait to hear her on that sound system, but I'm not expecting the best of what she can do, especially considering there appears to be two headliners on the bill. |

Just got an email from GLobal Underground promoting the new 24:7 album that Lee Burridge has come out with....the tour dates for the album show Toronto for that Sat night in the Guv so hes pretty much confirmed....the one thing that surprises me is why the Guv has got The 7 year anniversary stuff up and the the lee burridge / ms barbara party not up yet....could it be that the sept date is not a confirmation......or are they pushing for the 7 year annv...i think it may be the latter but hopefully they reply to you skipper...
both ways seems like ima be at the guv that wknd....really wouldnt mind lee burridge or mistress barbara |
