So you can indeed look up phrases, one of which is counter-intuitive (not counterintuitive, which is not a word), which is an antonym of intuitive, and you evidently have a different definition of common sense from anyone else on this forum (for me, common sense would have been to not start this thread in the first place, and common sense now would be not to reply, but I suppose my actions here are counter-intuitive).
Ginos are an ethnic stereotype, not a cultural group. Nerds are a childish insult used by pea-brained elementary school bullies, and I highly doubt that any conversations you've heard from me could lead you to believe I'm a gino, since I don't talk about hair spiking, euro, civics, or broads.
The comment about him being drunk was a pointed joke, and the word observance refers specifically to either religious observance or the act of observation, as opposed to something that one observes (once again, feel free to look this up and verify the correctness of this statement).
