Magna 7 - How unique

I was impressed, definateley a unique night of clubbing.
Even ran into John Tickle in the VIP space pod, how cool is he? :D

Missed Guyver, wouldn't mind seeing him, as we were too busy farting about sorting our vip wristbands out and wetting our pants inside the space pod, which i have to say was very cool.
Saw a bit of paul maddox in the face of steel, pretty good to warm up to.
Went in the funky bubble and nobody was there so walked straight out and never returned,
the hardcore bubble was a joke,
Jules played trance... why? it made me laugh at the end when the dude shouted over the mic "THIS MAN HAS PROVED, HE CAN PLAY OUT FOR THE HARDER GENERATION!!!!"
but i spose it did have kind of a harder edge

or something along those lines.
but he played freeloader - devotion (tukans f&w mix) so i don't care
:happy2: :D :tongue2

eddie played a ing storming set, one of the best i've ever seen in my life.
that guy has some serious talent, he was doing this mad as thing with the cd deck,
rocking the beat backwards and forwards with the cd platter, with two hands, totally in time, getting progressiveley faster, and he was working the mixer too for ages creating a massive build to a massive drop. very impressive. scratching was top as always!!
apparently lisa lashes was ill, but she did play pretty well, nice and hard to finish.

all in all an excellent unique night, and they're coming back at Magna for new years eve.... decisions decisions :conf:

- mike shame about the roadworks and that you couldn't make it :(
what did others think?

thats what people said on the crasher board.
i didn't notice much poor organisation, other than the one way system that they just gave up on after a couple of hours

It was good, when I finally got inside. After waiting for around 45minutes and moving forward a total of 10metres i decided to push in near the front. Some people i spoke to had been waiting for well over 2 hours. There was even queues to get between arenas, and the dodgy one-way system meant that you couldn't get from the funky bubble to the main arena without first fighting your way through the Face of Steel, what the ing ?!

But, apart from that, it was a very enjoyable night. Eddie probably played the best set of the night imo. Tidy Boys played some tune with a sample from Blockbusters (remember that?!) theme tune in, nice.

"Can I have a P please, Bob?"

All in all the good outweighed the bad, was definately worth the trek to Sheffield.
