unfortunatly I am not jokin, after recently purchasing a laptop, I went to record the essential Mix last night, and realised that my laptop does not have a "line in" and only has a micropone socket. The sound quality through this is terrible,
it could be vastly improved, but the volume seems to be unresponsive to the mixer settings in volume control,
can anyone help, basically, when using total recorder, when i alter the recording volume for the mic input it doesnt reduce the volume at all, until it hits the very bottom and then it goes silent!?!
basically, in one small increment it goes from silent to far too loud, hence the distortion?
can anyone offer any adivce, (other than replacing the laptop coz there is nothin worse than buying something thats duff, and other than the expense of an external soundcard)?
thanks, |
