Already flooding here, not sure if it's due to the hurricane or not, but what a start to the week. :(

Coming from a tropical island, i know for a fact that the northeast is not prepared at all for a major hurricane like this one. Of course, the intensity of this monster will decrease as it moves northwards (these are not the 80 degree Farenheit waters of the Caribbean anymore ;) ) , but still even a minor hurricane or tropical storm will up this region. I live in a wooden house in CT, there's no way it can stand over 90 mph sustained winds, let alone a category 4 (that won't happen).

Oh , the memories of seeing everything destroyed, of all the trees in my neighborhood trampled in the floor side by side with roofs and all kinds of , of weeks without water and electricity, and especially that brutal sound that this monstercanes make. It's so amazingly terryfying. I will never forget Hugo (1989) and Georges (1998). Better be prepared if Isabel hits your town, this is no joke.
