HOLLLLYYYYY KKKKK!!!
I know all that went can agree with me when i say that Holden's set last night was just unbelievable. An electric journey filled with a million different sounds and that famous holden bassline, driving prog and hypnotic melodies - just in crazy cant even begin to describe.
Thumbs up to Steve Gerrard who played a top class set as well - such talent shared between these 2 it was just amazing.
I'm still fairly rusty on my prog ID'ing but some tracks that definitly stood out for me:
JFOS - Do What You Want (Infusion mix) -->> :eyes: that infusion bassline was just owning me
Holden - A Break in the Clouds
Mathew Dekay - If I Could Fly
A sampling of "Nothing" from the original mix over some cool track
umm PQM - You Are Sleeping
Joshua Ryan - Pistolwhip (Holden mix)
and plennnnttty more - cheers to all who came ... nix, jace, sid, gendog, spang, miss trance, lethal and all else ... one of the best nights of the year and good to party with ya'll as always.
adios muchachos
P.S and wade (djway) - im heaps sorry man forgot to mention ya and sorry for not recognising you upstairs at bohem lounge i was so whacked off this planet.. hope you had a good night bro - bit hard not to with Holden behind the decks. cheers man! |

set of the year for me
holden is a true musical wizard and he showed that off in his DJing last night
spoke to him a bit before his set, absolute top bloke! (he was very smashed aswell)
some other tracks he played
Nathan Fake - Outhouse (original & fluffy mix) :eyespop:
Holden - The Wheel
Luke Chable - Ride (pretty sure..)
FC Kahuna - Hayling
MFA - 2 Billion Year Journey
Meerkat – Colours (James Holden Re Edit)
and the finale
>>Accadia - Into The Dawn (James Holden Remix)<<
Steve Gerrard was also in fine form dropping tracks like
Adam Freeland - We Want Your Soul (??Remix)
Sasha - Magnet North (??Remix)
Age of Love - Age of Love (Steve Gerrard Edit)
and loads of other bass driven monsters
cheers to the awsome au.ta posse that showed for this one
c u all at dave seaman! |

Truly one of the best nights of my life ! all I have to say is WOW ! easily my fav set of 2003 and thats saying something considering the talent that has braced our shores in reccent months !
First of all big thanks to all the ta's that made it down Gil, Adam, Nicky, Wade, Hugo, Lisa, erratik, pimp_deluxe and all the other crew and ofcourse Mark (the prized auta biggest gurner) it wouldn't be a night without you champ !lol
Well James Holden absolutely tore the place up ! I seriously cant remember the last time I had soooooooooo much fun , this was a night truly to remember ! I know this becuase I didn't even have that much chems and was literally on cloud 9 throughout his entire set ! the opening track was unreal, no id but whatever the hell it was , it went nuts ! the set gradually built up and the last hour was one truly to remember
Jase from outta space - Do what you want (Infusion mix)
Fc Kahuna - Hayling
Pqm - You are sleeping (Pqm meets luke chable vocal mix)
Accadia - Into the dawn (James holden mix)
and the highlight of my night Joshua ryan - Pistolwhip (James Holden mix) |

Superb night, what more can be said!!! Superb music, superb company, and just a night filled with superb djing!!! Had the best time ive had in ages!! :):):)
A large number of tracks that James played were unreleased!! It was for this reason that his set wasnt recorded :( , still it was amazing!!
And the messiness of every single sweetchilli dj/promoter/staff member was truly amazing!!! Thats what we like to see from the sweetchilli crew!! :tongue2:tongue2:tongue2 |

I've never liked the idea of raising a DJ to be something more then they are, which is just a person spinning vinyl. But I think I may have to make an acception to this rule; James Holden. James certianly owns the crown of King of the Pixies, which would puts him to the level of about demi-god.

Not a prob man, knew you didn't mean it. When Jace had 2 point out who I was and you were still struggling, I had a feeling you wouldn't be remembering me :)
Holden was awsome :) I was a also in the "Border Community" @ that time of the morning also ;) I'm still raving on about it, and on and on and on. hehehee :)
Next time I'll have a lil boggie on the floor; Holden was too much I just HAD to watch him (I'm sure some of you woulda seen where I was :p)
