I think tiesto is just the best dj, armin and ferry dont even come near. i also prefer ferry above armin. |

Stop being blinded by the fact that Tiest0 is Number 1 nowadays ! He is not that good and i am not ashamed to say he even sucks.
"Armin and ferry don't come near tiesto" , i guess it is realy all about taste but my opinion is that tiesto doesnt come near Armin or even Ferry. ! Armin is a much better DJ , with a beter selection of tracks , better production and better remixes ! Armin sets are breathtaking while tiesto's sets are only " bang boom bang" lately !!!
My choice is :
1. Armin Van Buuren
2. Airwave
3.Ferry

whenever a topic like this is brought up like who is the best? ta history has it , it usually turns into a flame war. there is no justice to this since diff people have diff opinions about tiesto, airwaive, ferry and armin...well, that's just my 2 cents on this |

like i said it is just a matter of taste, if you like the real trancy stuff, yeah then you preffer armin or ferry. The one thing i like with tiesto he is playing diverse. A nice variety of differnt sounds.
I like tiesto but it has nothing to do with that he is number 1. TIll december last year i didnt like tiesto either. then i started listing to dutch dimension and saw him at innercity he totaly blew me away. This year a saw tiesto about 4 time performing and every time it was soo great. ANd all sets were diffrent. At godskitchen he played totally diffrent than on dance valley. I think many peolpe here are judgeing djs based on mp3 livesets, this is not represenative. It is all about the vibe in the club or rave/festival. For example> tiesto live at dance valley. If you are listing to the live set it is indeed bang bang bang. But tiesto was closing down the mainstage infront of 40000 people would you really think he would play some deep trance tracks. I think when you see tiesto playing in a small club and he is playing for several hours you will here a complete other tiesto, unfortunaly many of his club sets are not broadcasted so many peolpe think tiesto is only playin BANG BANG . I judge a dj when he is live performing. This year I saw ferry, armin, PVD and tiesto. And without a doubt tiesto was the best one. Evertime he felt the crowd perfectly and he created a magik journey.
Production wise i think armin, ferry and tiesto are on the same level, the all created some classic trance tracks but also created some really cheap trance tracks |
