Ok I don't mean which track is the best etc etc.

What I mean is which peice of vinyl that you own do you just love to spin because its not skinny and wobbly.

For example: I have a Fog Area release and the record seems like it is 1 mm thick, everytime you touch it, it comes to a dead stop, and starting it up is just a pity.

On the other hand, I have a F8 release that is just awsome, its a massive vinyl, feels actually heavy, and is just so easy to use.

Just kind of curious to see what labels seem to make the bestest feeling records.

try the pressed remakes of records . . . i have a copy of Darude - Sandstorm Superchumbo remake produced in finland and you could probably run it over with a semi and it wouldn't warp . . . its outrageously thick. its also a nightmare to get started, its heavy and just grabs the table. and then on the other hand, i have a copy of ayla - liebe and you have to make sure the table doesnt break it. I dont know whats worse, a wobbly thin record or a thickass cumbersome record.

Weird, I hate thin flimsy 12"s, I prefer nice solid ones, dont stop dead or fly off the handle when you touch em :D

All my Tracid Traxx vinyls are lovely to handle.

My Vandit Time of Our Lives/Connected is quite thick, I love the feel of it compared to other records of mine (like my slippery ass image pressed Ligaya). I only hgave 1 Vandit record but I hear others are thick as well (except for 1 NU NRG song).
Mellow Yellow
My copy of dirty vegas - days go by is the thickest record I got.
P4z!
my copy of B-Zet - Everlasting Pictures is so solid and nice! Released on Eye-Q :)

Yes for the most part my Vandit records are fairly decent size/weight (whatever you want to call it)

My favourite vinyl to spin is my copy of Revelation - Just be Dub to Me, it's a Multiply records Promo release. It's so clean, good thickness, and perfect hole placement. The edges aren't too sharp either, so it's easy to flip sides in your fingers.... :tongue2
The worst one to spin is my copy of Cosmic Gate - Human Beings (extended & G&M remixes.) It's fine, except it's creeped inwards on the G&M side, and outwards on the extended side.... how do I un-creep it???!!!!

This is a little off topic, but does anyone else get scared at touching the vinyl right on its very edge? I always think that I'm going to get cut or something!

My fav record though is Fingers Burnt - Squatthrust. It's a marbled medium blue single sided vinyl. It's one of those ones that catches people's eye when you take it out.
