Welp, I got the PvD mix. My question is: What is so bad about it???
The tune is total quality but won't take you to the next galaxy. |

It's a good tune but as someone else has already said it's now way overplayed . . .
I think i have been hearing this for like 3 months and to be honest its not on my playlist anymore due to the sheer amount of times it is played elsewhere
Even daytime Radio 1 are playing it again and again and in doing so taking away it's edge.
It's a good tune and i will always like it but at the moment I shall not play it.
My fav version of this is the Paul Van Dyk Club mix
the PvD members only mix a close 2nd.
PvD also did a short mix as well so i Guess PvD likes this tune to do 3 different mixes of it lol

| i heard 10 in 01 and flight 643 yesterday when tiesto was spinning, and i must say that i love em, they are great, although 10 in 01 gets a lot of airtime |

They may be quality production-wise...but simply no kick... :)

10 in 1 is SUCH cheese. but ive listened to it so much i like both the original and the pvd mix now.
flight 643 can grow on some people, like me... i think its ok now.
anyways i like riva - stringer as much as anyone else, but its VERY easy to see how people can hate it. the song has 4, count 'em exactly FOUR FRIGGIN CHORDS!!!!!!!!!!!
i swear. man it must be THE simplest tune ever created.
4, as in 1, 2, 3, 4 chords, that's the song. which is why it sounds so repetitive to some people, because it is! hehe :) |

isn't that the whole point of a thread? to get people's opinions? yeah, it might've been said before but how do newcomers know that? and no-one likes sifting thru old threads do they? sorry mate but you can't get arsey over something like this, i think its a fair thread, got plenty of decent replies.
anyway, riva - stringer, yeah! i thought that when i first heard it, how simple?! it grew on me though, love it every time.

| Yup...10 in 1 is a bit cheesy but I still love it!:)Really makes you happy and makes you want to dance. I like the PvD mix a lot better than the original although they aren't too entirely different. I do think the song is getting a bit played out though by Tiesto, PvD, Judge Jules. |
