i just got sasha & digweed- northern exposure (eastcoast edition)
and i have to say i am dissapointed. digweed is one of my favorites, and i thought this would be good, but it is..its hard to explain
anyway, some one who shares this point of view: is the westcoast editon better? worth checking out?

thx

I stopped buying Northern Exposure after the first CD. Both went towards a different style then I was listening to. I was heading to Hard/Tech Trance, and they were developing Ambient and Deeper Trance.

Stiil love them both, always great live.

Oh dear god man, bite your tongue. At the time (and still now) the Northern Exposure albums are revolutionary, stunning examples of what sasha and digweed could do on the tables. Maybe you are listening to much to the tracks and not to the overall album. The mixing is absolutely genius, the track selection flows beautifully, and the set is completely satisfying. I think east coast edition is better than the west coast edition though, but it's still the same kind of sound, so you probably won't enjoy it.

I used to like Sasha n Digweed. I also bought Northen Exposure two daysa go, and it totally sucks. I guess the sasha/digweed era is going DOWN! Time for the era of TIESTO and PAUL VAN DYK!!!

Its your fault, Westcoast is the only way to go!

I got the first Northern Exposure a couple of weeks ago and fell in love with it. The music absolutely flows and the mixing is superb. It's such a cool album to chill out to and just relax. I plan on getting the other Northern Exposures cause you guys seem to be saying they have the same kind of feel as the first one.

Northern Exposure 2 is the best!

Fluke - reeeferendum
Lost tribe - distant voices

I wouldn't really compare Sasha/Digweed with Tiesto or PvD...
The music is just completely different, and to say that both of these styles are trance is misleading... at least for beginners.

mmm...Banco de Gaia too ;)

All three (four if you count the different west coast/east coast) albums are pretty chill, all are great listens I think 1 is quite good too, 3 is a little off, but still worth a listen or twenty :)
