Help!! Beat Foundation - Foundations II remix?

I bought this tune years ago, back in 97 or something. The original isn't the tune I'm looking for, but there was a remix of it, which sounded very like the original but it was much 'softer' sounding - same tempo, same piano solo, just maybe more modern sounding or something.

I've been trying to find it for ages, and want to buy it on vinyl but want to be sure that I've got the right tune.

Anyone know this tune?

Cheers,

Si.

The Foundations II remix is prolly the mix you are after. I have the MP3 on cd somewhere. It might be the Main Mix, but I don't think it is.

..Anyway If you PM me I can send you the MP3 if you have somewhere to upload it :)

There were only two mixes ever made.

Foundations (Original) (1995)
Foundations II (Main Mix) (1997)

What your after is most likely the original 1995 "Foundations".

Yes, that's right. The original '95 version does sound a bit "softer" than the '97 version i think.

May I also add that in my opinion the Original isn't a tenth as good as "Foundations II" and sounds like a more amatuerish/half finished version. It's still good, but really does sound old in 2003 and there's not much point at least in my eyes of having it if you've got "Foundations II".

I agree with aloep here, Foundations II is much much better of the two. It's one of my alltime favs too!

Thanks all - I've heard the Main Mix, and it's definitely not that one, so it must be the original.

Cheers,

dj_cuba, I've tried sending you a PM as I'd definitely like to hear this tune, but all I get is a blank screen. I'll try again tomorrow, time to hit the hay tonight :D
