| wtf? i dont really care about my comp anymore, dont have time to screw around with it...so for the last week or so, my dad has used it the most. now...everthin seemed to slow down (internet connection the most). so i defraged...nada...scandisk...nada...virusscanned it...nada...this happened...i restart and it tells me "Backing up system files". some were damaged but now fixed?!?!? wtf?!?!? so now everythin seems to be runnin fine, but the in internet is slow as . i have updated my virus scanner and everythin but it doesnt find !!! what do i do? could it be the internet servers? cant be, cuz i just dled some stuff and normal speed...help?:( |

hmm a longshot here' maybe your dad was looking at pr0n and got some mean spyware on your comp,
dload Ad-aware and give it it a try? it may help :sadgreen: |

Another spyware removal program is Spy-bot Search & Destroy. I also have Ad-Aware but find that Spybot does a more comprehensive job. Either will do the job well enough.

| Pop yourself over to majorgeeks.com, go to 'Spyware Tools' and download a program called 'SpySweeper'. I used it last night and it found 55 instances of spyware, and over 1200 traces! :eek: |
