Digital Blonde has put out some excellent tunes lately. But have you guys noticed that every production by him is completely dirty, un-clear and a mess for your ears? damn, i think my tunes made with fruity (see sig) even sound clearer than his. someone must hire a really good sound engineer to help saving those awesome tracks :\

thanx for losing 10 seconds of your life reading this

hehe yeah, they sound pretty damn dirty. still sounds cool though (apart from gothica!)
FuzzyGreen
Agreed. Good artist, bad audio quality

good artists, bad vinyl rips
FuzzyGreen
No, it's not the rips, because I have the vinyl and it's quite bad.

I always thought it was supposed to be like that... either way I love the sound. dark and diiiiirty.

i have gothica and noctone on vinyl, both are clean as a whistle...

Yeah his latest batch of tracks sound very dull and unexiciting. By dirty, they aren't referring to audible artifacts on the vinyl, but actually the frequency range. Lack of highs, lack of acoustic space, etc, etc.

i love his productions.
they always sound dark and dirty.
i think they are meant to sound like that.

I think that Tiesto needs a new engineer too.

I did notive that Mandrake - Universal Soul (DB Mix) was a bit of a bitch to mix. Agree with you, but still good tune. Just have to practise more...

hmmm I have most of his records. They all sound fine.

his remix of Universal soul is awsome....in my top 10 for this year for sure. And yes the current vinyl rips of this tune that are out there SUCK, thats hardly the producers fault.
