I'll be in NYC on the 23rd of October for a few days.. could some local fellow tranceaddicts suggest any places I should be visiting?

25.. trance obviously but any decent electronica will be fine..

that is too broad. you can go anywhere. IMO the best parties are not at the big clubs but at the smaller venues. trance comes and goes so check here to see what is going on specifically. that is right around halloween (dont know if you will behere that long) and there is TONS going on for that. you shoudl probably check out limelight. arc is good too for music (no liquor liscence). also chekc out the lounges in teh east village like liquids, open air, abaya, carnaval, orachard bar, guernica, le souk, etc... there are good weeklies every day but most cater to a specific genre of music, rarely trance. dont just go to a lounge randomly, check out what parties are being thrown there. you migjht want to check out timeout new york. i hear they have a pretty complete listing. also, naughtybooth.com has a really good events calendar.
