Instead of subpoenas being granted on the word of the RIAA, he wants to make each one require the signature of a judge.See here

They have made it a ridiculous mess!!

we don't have that problem in Canada

laws are much stricter in terms of privacy...so an ISP giving up a user...is less likely

the cdn version of riaa is poor and ill equiped

also a law in 1997...put a levy on blank recorded material...70million bucks...in 6 yrs...goes to the companies..

tho I think the RIAA needs an ass kicking and a reality check.
