HAHAHAHAHAHA
nice.
What can be said these days? People like to be told what music to listen to. Grade 9's are no exception to this rule. That's why we have 'fidy-cent' and other crap infesting the radio. But yes, give it time, and those little s will most likely be listening to other stuff when they reach the age of 17/18.
| quote: | | Well, the whole "trying to be thugs" phase will vanish the second they get outta highschool. |
You should take a walk around UofT, York, Seneca, Centennial and Humber some time... or any other post-secondary institutions. |

| I can say that at post-secondary institutions... its a completely different atmosphere. The ghetto thugs stand out like sore thumbs here at U of T. I would wager that there are more people on campus who listen to electronic music than dress as thugs. It's just the culture.. It leans towards the indie kind of things.. anything 'underground' is considered cool at university... whereas its cool to be mainstream in highschool. Tastes are eclectic and MAYBE, just maybe... partially esoteric.. In 2 weeks, I've met 2 people who listen to trip hop. Thats an infinite times greater than I've met before university. |

And BTW......everyone in here that is calling rap "crap" and disrespecting the genre of hiphop is doing exactly what the grade 9's did to your trance. Just appretiate the music you like, and dont be offended by others negative views. They are either uneducated, or just not open minded. |

Oh, and the thug phase doesn't wear off after high school. I see many thugs in my college. |
ing word. Do what we did, put marshmellows under his armpits and down his pants and make him run 4 laps around the field. That never gets out. |

Not York as much at least. Well I haven't noticed it. What I have noticde though is dudes rocking the same jeans as their female counter parts. You gotta be carefull too cause if you see a nice ass you can't be too sure if its Angelas or Lorenzos, ginos with my mind. |

Yeah, well... Ryerson isn't a real school.
Daks - do you go to the same YOrk as I do? There are sooo many damn thugs around.
There's a lot of ginos too, but when you're 5km south of woodbridge, that's to be expected. |

Really??? I thought they were a university now (as opposed to a polytechnic university - like they were a few years back) which makes them a real school/university to me.
I guess my UWO Engineering wasn't a "real" school in your book either...

You neglected to mention the sub-demographic you fit into.... You also neglected to say that you decided to attend York (which in your opinion is a "thug" and "gino" breeding ground, so WTF are you doing there?? thug...) Good work... Kudos.
IMO: York/Ryerson is as good as school as any other.. Grow up - loose the pretentious attitude. |

Ryerson's been an acreditted school since it had the "Polytechnic University" added to it. the name change to "Ryerson University" is just to make it seem more official. |
