Just wondering what sound-cards you peoples are running!
I've just got a 1024 Live Sound-Blaster. Pretty Standard.
Any recommendations as i'm after a new one!
Will be using it with external hardware (e.g. 2 synths, midi keyboard and a mic for vocals.

Im using a M-Audio delta 44. it sounds great, low s/n ratio, good drivers.

Go one of the M-Audio cards like mentioned before. Depends on how many channels you want. If you just need stereo in and out and you do hardware mixing, then go something like the delta 4/4. If you need more audio, go the delta 10/10LT.
You'll also need a midi interface that can handle 3 instruments. I'd go a M-audio midisport 4x4, but you may want to have a look into some of the 8x8 if you plan on expanding further. There's plenty out there. |
