really means
I really, really want to believe I'm correct in my opinion, but have no way whatsoever of proving that to you or anyone else. Therefore I will shamelessly type out an insulting phrase and quietly hope people think I'm interesting and knowledgeable because I swear.

really sucks. what a piece of crap (or close equivalent, as entire post)
really means
I'm so hopelessly inept at finding things to boost my self-esteem in real life that I must go on an internet forum, carefully construct a "cool" persona, and then judge music that other people like as if my own words were universal edict. Then at least some people will think I'm 1337 and cool, unlike my ex-girlfriend, friends, or minimum wage coworkers. |
