no way dude. february was a really good pvd night. i think april, despite the fact that he played all kinds of great songs, lacked in many ways. the crowd was dead, pvd did a good job and tried to get people moving all night and it didnt work. he played songs randomly because they were requested and he had them. it wasnt a real night with a real vibe and energy. some songs were totally out of context for that situation.

wasnt feb the show i had to bribe my way into in order to get in even though i had bought a tickets months in advance?

yea. that is gay.

yes, that was the feb show. i did not bribe my way in so it was the one and only time i missed the beginning of a pvd set (about an hour). does that suck? yes.

yeah the club was poorly organized.... what the hell does that have to do with the overall vibe and paul van dyk's performance???
absolutely nothing. his february performance was good. that is all there is to say about it.

peace

are you kidding? of course that has A LOT to do with the vibe, which always sucks at roxy. no one ever wants to chant, sing along, or clap there, and i hate that .

i dont remember the track selection, although im pretty sure it was good, but out of the last 3 at roxy (april, feb, nov) the feb show was by far the worst one.

his february performance was the best i have EVER seen paul.. and as you can see from my custom status, i've been around the block with pvd LOL..

but opinions, ahem, like s, everyone's got one. :wtf:

Overseas
Dani, I dare to disagree: his best US show ever was at Roxy in November 2002 :toothless. But that's a minor disagreement ;)

What's more important is our agreement to go to his next Roxy show :D:D

I case I haven't mentioned it around here, I am definite! Everything is booked, printed ticket sits in my desk :).
