Ripper / Burner Errors!?

Ok, not sure where to post so i will post here. to anyone that can help me . ..
i regularying rip. for now some reason all the sets that i record when i goto burn them onto a cd whether it be, by cue or by bulk files. and i go to my car to play it the cd will get in a few tracks and then just stop working. and i can't skip ahead. the cd is dead. i can play the tracks before but once it gets to "that" track its done.
All the sets that i download .via dj2k, simplemp3, ta any of em' the cd works fine no problem.
so i think it has to be the recorder that im using but it never did this before, and i've rip'd a hell of alot of music.
im using the consolewin32 version from http://streamripper.sourceforge.net/ the gui version won't rip or somthing is wrong, plus i like the cmd line better but that is besides the fact.
anyone have a soultion?!?!!? im dyin' |

i know my car doesn't take too kindly to playing cdr/w's .. does this cd play in other players? mite be down 2 the laser in ur cars player? try burning at a lower speed, as i'm sure u're aware that burning at high speeds often results in dataloss / inaccuracy.. chances are though u've allready tried buring at a lower speed? .. go for a 4x burn, if that doesn't work in ur car then you know it's either that specific type of cdr media or ur car stereo may be ed ;)
edit: just re-read ur post, realise what i've just said has no real relevance to you at all lol, eek sorry. so lemme get this straight - u wanna rip songs that are previously cda, encode into mp3, or just burn the ripped wav file straight to cd and it's messing up? know it may be a pain but could you rip tracks one at a time? sometimes when ripping in bulk corruption can accour. Either that or the orginal cd may be scratched, in which case your computer may struggle to read it and therefore fail in the rip. Just a suggestion? |

ok ill go further.
Clarion VRX925VD won't play my set's that recorder of DI. I usualy reocord the daily shows.
I tried buring then at 40x (normal) and then i tried 32x. but i havne't tried 4x, so i will try that with today's sets. but . ..
every one that i burn that wont play in my car, will play in my girlfriends car and my other friends car. so its something with the recording?
i've narrowed it down to this.
1. Download off of dj2k, burn by cue or musiCutter - PLAYS
2. Download off Simplemp3 - PLAYS
3. Record - Di. - WONT PLAY.
its just the sets i record. like the other day i downloaded the Oslo sets from Dj2k. all play fine. . loud and proud. but anything I RIP. . . NO PLAY
see if that makes anysense !ahha damnit!
edit: i usually record on my desktop but im gonna rip with my laptop today and just see if for some reason its my desktop that just messes stuff up. i just reformated my HD the other and reinstalled everything so its fresh and clean, but we will see. . . hope that works. i need this to work. di plays soo many live sets! . .blahhhhhhh |
