Adelaide loves trance, always has. but they tend to only go if its a ministry of sound thing or g8crasher with a big name international.
trance compilations are always the biggest sellers at sanity etc.
the problem is that all the promoters with power here, ie who put on the bigger parties are all into hard house/nrg or drum n bass.
i believe that the punters arent given another choice, if we could get one or two trance sets at these parties at a decent time(not the first set) then i think we could get trance back into favour ina big way here. |

and as for uplifting trance in adelaide, theres a big following, so many people I talk to out and about say thats the style they prefer.
However adelaide is over run by system6 and the like, which focus on nrg/drum n bass! (not that there is anything wrong with that). I could count the number of uplifting trance nights Adelaide has had this year on one hand.
Maybe this night will be the start of something special for the adelaide trance crew! :D |
