Software? Remixing?
View this Thread in Original format
Dj Spiel
Hello,

I was wondering what software would I buy if I wanted to start making my own TRACKS and what software would I get it I wanted to do a remix for.. EXAMPLE- PVD- Nothin But You

Right now I have.
Soundforge and AcidPro and Acid Dj. Are there any that you guys use? I just want to make sure I have all the stuff right. Because if your gonna do something like that you might as well have the right stuff.

...and don't expect to be able to make a superb remix in just a few hours. It takes months of experience!
Not that I want do discourage you from remixing the track, I just wanted to let you know.
;)

Maybe it took you months. But if you actually had skill like me it will take about one week.

:stongue:

i want to hear that.

dude, there's like thousands of threads everyday about starting to produce/remix. for some weird reason people think remixing is different from producing. it isn't. you just take an element from the original track and produce your mix around it. you'll need a software sequencer, like Fruity, Reason or even your Acid Pro (though I personally think it's e)

now, for more info, use the ing search button.

goin a bit off topic...
i read in some other threads (that i searched for) about remixing that i need the individual parts of the track... if i send a nice (:D ) email to the original producer will they send me the parts?? or do they not like to give them out??

probably not. a good place to start would be maybe a recent sasha tune that you liked (if that's your thing). he has samples to all the airdrawndagger songs on his website to download so practice with some of that. but you aren't gonna get samples from producers being someone that is just sitting in their room trying to make a song...

Gah, you haven't even made a track/got the correct software, yet you somehow know exactly how long it will take you, and how good it will be...

How smart.
