girls making the first moves?

ok..seems like this forum is well known for some advice..so here it goes:
frankly, i'am a girl that follows the normal standards...girl waits for the guy to make the first move. here is the situation, my friends (which are a couple) are trying to set me up with this kid..i know him from high school. i don't really know him that well since he was a grade ahead of me. so anyways, this labor day, we all went out to our beach house down the shore. this kid and i clicked instantly...it was a really great night...nothing out of the ordinary happened (eg hooked up or anything). we basically were at each other's side the whole night at the club..we danced, had great conversations and even cuddled...i was very impressed that he respected me as a woman and didn't pushed me to hook up with him. anyways, that was that..now weeks later, my friends that are trying to hook me up with him are still trying..we had several attempted plans to hang out but never works out for some reason :( something usually comes up and we end up not hanging out (the four of us) sooo...here i'am, sitting waiting!!!!!!! i'am contemplating if i should just be impulsive and ask my friend for his number and call him??? or just wait until the four of us will make up our damm minds and finally hang out again??????? i don't know what to do..and ooo, this kid is shy..my friends say so and i got the impression aswell...so maybe i should grab my imaginary balls and call him to hang out????? I NEED SOME ADVICE PRONTO!!!!

Why the hell don't you just call the guy? Women want emancipation, well you can start by making the first damn call!
(Sorry if i'm being rude or anything but I can't stand it when 2 people want each other, but the man doesn't dare to do anything because he's shy, and the woman think she shouldn't do anything because she's a woman!) |

| Personally, i much prefer it when the woman makes the first move. I never know when someone likes me, so it's generally a good thing to be asked :p |
