so. tried installing mandrake 9.1 tonight... besides having problems booting from the cds, here's what my biggest problem is:

this is what partition magic sees. but it's wrong - i have just one NTFS partition, 6 gigs of which are being used. i suspect there's some mistake in the partition table or something, since partition magic not only can't read the label of the C 'partition', but it also can't perform any operations on it.
help? ideas? |

try an updated version of pm.
otherwise, your inode table's borked.
i.e. you can't (or can - depending on what you're using) have more than one primary partition. |
