Just finished up my most recent digital mix, chock full of tranceaddict "amateurs"...

...I use the term "amateur producer" really loosely with these guys. Fully 50% of the mix is comprised of the likes of Endre, DJ Virgen and Elude.
This is also probably going to be my last digital mix, as I bought my first set of turntables earlier this year.

Good mix bro, enjoyed all the tunes. I love seeing people putting in tracks from TA, wish more would do it since I'm personally unable to do it in my mixes.
Not sure why you put a track like Novelty Pioneers after possibly the best uplifter of the year, tho. I was all pumped then you took it a few notches down.
Nonetheless, great job. :D |

Glad you liked it. I know that as soon as I have the extra money for it, I'm going to buy a CDJ so that I can throw amateur tracks in when I'm doing live vinyl sets that are at the moment restricted to vinyl. |

I assume you're referring to the Tranceaddict "amateur" tracks - they're all posted by the various producers right here on the forums.
Another one of those is essentially a white label from a buddy of mine (DJ Virgen), others are of course MP3 format.
Don't worry, I just bought my turntables this year, and I already have two full bags of vinyl. I'm doing my miniscule little part to support the artists. :) |

So you mean you mixed in the 112kbps version of Purgatory? And a cut of Starport Indra? |

Yes to both.
The quality of some of our Tranceaddict "amateur" producers really blows away a lot of the "pro" stuff these days. Ever couple of weeks I download a bunch of demo stuff off the Amateur Producer forum and give it a listen.
Previous digital mixes of mine have included the likes of Lightworks, Bren-F, and others. As soon as I get a CDJ to complement my Technics, I'll be throwing in a bunch of amateur tracks with my online sets. |

His producing is getting better and better too. The remix of his that I included here on Mix 13 is GOOD. |

u know virgen? damn a small world. DJ Lithium is also with BTR... i think he just bought BTR the other month. Good DJ from Calgary area. |
