any photoshop 5/5,5 users plz help

I've been working with it for a long, but I still can't answer this simple question...
how the fcuk can you draw a simple circle or a simple square?
and that curve tool, how complicated can that be... or is it just to me? |

on 7 u just right click the shape tool and a list comes to the right and u select what shape u want.
but i dont know if this is the same for 5. |

What you need to do is use the marquee tools (see below). Draw your square or circle, then right-click and you can select either 'Fill' or 'Stroke'. Hopefully you'll be able to follow my lame instructions! :wtf:

I try that in 7, and it draws a circle or whatever. Once I deselect it, the circle disappears (its a dotted line circle, wtf). |
