Anyone know what programs to use to edit samples in?
trying to make this "ssssssssss" sound with "white noise"(a program that can filter out unwanted noise)

a WAV or AIF sample?? use sonic foundry - soundforge, or Cool Edit Pro, or Wavelab :)
they all have effects too so you can add to the sample in the editor |

I think you could better look for drum-samples on the internet. I'm sure you'll find the ride cymbal to use in your mix. IMO sampled percussion sounds much better than when you fiddle around with sounds yourself.

| thanks fellas, i do have cool edit laying around somewhere ill try with that and get some more drum samples. |
