| Well, don't flame me for saying this, but... maybe they turn to pop and rock stuff, because there's nothing really good that's new on the rave scene...? |

There isn't ???
And there is so much good new stuff in rock/pop? That would turn our world upside down, cause the techno/trance scene has always been ahead of everything else in terms of innovations, new ideas, sounds, experiments.....
I think he (W.O.) did it for the $, and that's cool, cause he has to make his living with music. He produced the last Madonna album, btw. (Not the new one. The guy behind Mirwais did that one) |

What do you mean? W.O. produced these? They are commerical? They all made remixes for Limp Bizkit?
PS: FastDJ, i don't have the mp3. I saw this on MTV.
Maybe someone else can help you out... |

It's no big deal remixing pop / rock artists as long as quality music is the result ... classic example is the Venga Boys 'Kiss' - Airscape mix. Where you draw your inspiration from is your business. I reckon it would be a lot more fun and challenging as a producer to remix something totally not dance-able into a good trancer, than doing another rehash of some trance number that's already got two dozen mixes out there.
Having said that, W.O. would have to really pull one out of the hat to make anything from that e nu-metal genre into something worth listening to ... I wouldn't piss on a Limp Bizkit record if it was on fire :whip: :whip: :whip: |

At the end it said:
Limp Bizkit - My Way (William Orbit Remix) !!!
What the f...?
This man is a real genius, and a great pruducer, but I did not await a remix for a rockband! What do you think of this? Have you heard the tune? |
i think William Orbit is the producer from LimpBizkit...also of Madonna :D |

| Actually I like remixes like that... Haven't heard the particular Limp Bizkit one but remember, Trance ussually = Rock on Electronic/ Classic on Electronic ... |

I haven't heared the song yet but all I can say....hey wake up people it's still Limp Bizkit....not like Vengaboys or "some" Pop trax....
It is hard rock,I guess he only mixed that to show people that he can do the difficult thing...mixing rock....it must be fun to mix a different kind.
He also might have made it because he was too bored of the same kind of music.... isn't that possible.
Money can be another factor...
Anyway he's fine I think.:thepirate :stongue: |
