how do you recognize a fellow TA on the streets?

to follow up the "you know you're a real TA when..." thread, here's another one that poses an important question to us all: How do we recognize fellow tranceaddicts out in the real world?
many times i'd be walking somewhere or waiting for the bus or whatever, listening to a pvd/avb/you name the artist liveset on my cd player and bobbing my head... and then not so far away from me would be another dude making what seems to be the same move...
so the question is... what's typical of a TA, how do you recognize these special and unique people on the street? |

We should have a universal symbol that we can flash to say we are TA's.
Just like that episode of Seinfeld where George gets into trouble with some gang. Then he tries to flash the symbol to show that he's one of them. hahaha |

take off an earbud and swing it around 2ice.
[or for those who use headphones].. slide one cup to the back of your head for a few seconds and then put it back (optional: after running your finger down the side of your ear).
...oo that sounds slick.
aside from that... i guess you'd know a TA if you asked about any particular topics discussed in any of the local threads, and manage to pickup on what you might remeber them writing about it.... but that'd seem a bit too internet-nerdy for me, unless I know it's a TA already. |
