Hey all. :)

First post here, been lurking for a while. =) I have a question that's been bugging me forever. Where's a decent place to get trance on vinyl in Kitchener/Waterloo? I used to go to Speed, and that's was lovely until they decided to go out of business. :whip:

So now I'm stuck going to Sherwood, and they're *alright* but... there's gotta be better. Please help a poor lost DJ out. :)

Oh boo. :P I can find online stuff easy enough myself but... I just love the experience in the store. Knowledgable people, great music and sitting infront of a turntable for long hours listening to amazing tracks looking for that one that just flicks a switch in you. So are you trying to say there's no hope for K/W? :P

I recently discovered bassline records in Guelph. I was soooo impressed with their selection and service. They still had a record on hold for me that I requested a month or two ago.

it's worth the drive to Guelph!!

Thanks guys! Guess I'll be making the trek to Guelph a fair bit. :)

Yeah Mudshark. The last time I was in there (just over a week ago) they had NOTHING.

Mostly DNB, and breaks (amazing breaks mind you).

In terms of prog/ house / trance set up an account with Allan and yeah he'll order for ya. Like Sarah said. Otherwise I wouldn't really recommend it for up to date tracks. But yeah service wise, they are amazing.

Honestly
you're much better off ordering online from overseas
you get exactly what you need and you're not disappointed
also you stay ahead of the game ...where most record shops around here might only have a few copies...ording online assures your vinyl

damn...does that look like spam
maybe if I were a spokesperson for a online record shop it would

hehe later

hmm Thanks for the advice guys. Guess I'll go check out the record store sticky. :) *sigh* That's the one bad thing about living here... as my good DJ friend said "it's all hip-hop and heavy metal."

I think it depends on what you listen to (or spin rather). If you listen to prog/ prog trance, you will have a hard time convincing me that it's a smarter move than ordering from release.

I should work for them, listen to me.
