| OK, dont tell me that if I started my own thread and I cant close it, cause I know I could and I've done that before. What I was asking is if I close a thread, do the posts that I make in that thread EVENTUALLY get subtracted from my Total Posts list? Please be straight with you answer, not "Find Out yourself" way. Thank you. |

It seems to be enabled in every room except the Toronto forum. |

you can close.
(also reopen if a mod closes). |
No you can't !
you can close your own thread, a mod can close your thread and you can not re-open them, what's the point in a Mod closing a thread if the threadstarter can open it again . . .
and no you do not lose posts when a thread is closed, only if that thread is deleted.

Yes, you can reopen a thread that a mods closed, ive seen it done many times before and even tried it on occasion.
(if you dont want people knowing about it then thats fair enough, so just edit my post or something, but you certainly can do it, if you should or not is a different matter :) ) |

Well just incase you didnt know, posts in chillout arent counted in your profile post count anyway. But you can get your post count including chillout posts by clicking search in your profile then looking near the top and it will tell you. |

no, you can't re-open threads closed by mods. you could in the past, but not anymore. that issue has already been addressed and fixed. |

do you really lose your posts if the thread is deleted? for example, on another board i post on, i checked my total post count and it was different than the amount of times i posted using the search function. i figured that the search function couldnt see the deleted threads but i hadnt lost a count for them... |
