No respect for Arse-nal

After their antics vs Man U I am convinced that this team is a disgrace to the Premier League. The fact that they get the most bookings and red cards (and no the refs are not biased) was bad enough already but what did it for me was Wenger's nerve to actually come out and plead innocence. Who does he think he's pulling a fast one on? The FA will slap him and his sorry arse team with another hefty fine but they will never learn.
Some things never change. |

| Although I am an avid Arsenal supporter, I wasn't very proud of the way they acted Sunday and I understand perfectly when people say they act disgracefully. I thought the ref let them get away with a bit too much during the game and it just spilled over near the end. It must be frustating for the rest of the team when you have to keep defending the dirty play of a few (namely Vieira and Keown). |

Arsenal deserve to lose at least 5 points for this AND the players involved with hitting/knocking around van nistelrooy at the end should get 5 match bans (especially keown).
The fa really need to crack down hard on arsenal this time and make wenger take responsibility for once because that sort of thing is well out of order and they know it |

Yes it was a very disappointing reaction from the Arsenal players, but van Nistelrooy is the best when it comes to intimidating players. However, that's no excuse for Arsenal players to loose their tempers like that, let alone start pushing around players like bullies.
Composure is the key during games and RVN must be celebrating his psychological win in that regards.
But there was no winning when it game to the last minute penalty. Although i dislike Keown, i felt he was hard done by when the ref penalised him. How a ref can really give a 100% accurate decision from where he was standing at the exact moment Forlan went down, is totally beyond me.

I think deducting 5 points from Arsenal is a tad bit harsh, but some of you mighten agree or disagree with me.
However bans are definitely in order for some of the Arsenal players. Cole, Keown, Lauren especially. But i think its unrealistic to give them all 5 match bans, 3 surely. But not 5. |

what is everyone wyning on about?
Viera shouldnt have got a yellow card for his first challenge, and he missed the second time by miles!
If this was a second division match, it wouldnt be made a big fuss off, because this happens quite a few times. If the FA hand out punishments as they have today, they should be equal in their job throughout the leagues in england.
its hypicritical that they let teams in the first division, like preston and norwich, who had a 16 man brawl, and both clubs get a warning and a fine or something, yet arsenal have a handbag fight and their threadened with point diduction! ing stupid!
by the way i hate man u scum!!! hahahhahahha and i love it when RBN missed thatpenalty!!:D :D :D :D |

| I too am an avid Arsenal fan. What happened was not right. You have no right to lose your composure at such a high level of any sport. |

He didnt get the first yellow for 1 foul, he got it because he had fouled about 3 or 4 times within a short amount of time.
If u try to kick a player, especially with studs showing, ur getting sent off whether or not u hit him. Dont say anything about van nistelrooy cheating because thats bs. If the referee had thought vieira actually kicked him he wouldve got a straight red.

LOL if ur an arsenal fan this really is funny considering theyre the worst cheaters in the league. Remember the worst bit of cheating in years, keown getting totti sent off? Totti didnt even touch him and keown goes down like a house fell on top of him. |

I'm not an Arsenal fan but RVN loves diving, its about time someone did something about it like giving him a slap on the head. |

Actually, it was 3 fouls in the whole match. Andy Gray stated post match comments. He won the ball clearly, and he got a yellow for it. True he shouldnt have kicked out out, but van nisteroy kicked him in mid air...deliberate? yes, so what happens, its a straight red, soon as he made contact, right? I thought it as great entertainment. People just like to moan...bad for children etc... kids are not going to go out and start a fight just because footballers did!
IMO people get sent off far too easily these days, its a pansy's game. The ref was , he gave Keane a yellow for a mistimed tackle, and it was his first. I mean, any common sense?
What i would admit about RVN is that he is the king at winding people up, apart from savage and its good to have these people in the game because it makes the game entertaining...because you do know at the end of the day, its only a game:p |
