best way to drink medicine?

| anyone know the best way to drink liquid medicine? I tried just drinking it but after the first gulp my throat automatically closes in an attempt to throw up |

in an attmept to answer I say use a spoon. Usually 2 spoon fulls do the job for a few hours. |
