Askew has a show on Kiss Fm every monday night, last night Dave and I texted him to ask if he'd play he Re-Edit of TOOL.
Earlier in the show he mentioned that he left a CD Wallet of his on a bus during the day so I didnt hold out much hope.
But second last track what do I hear mixing in....seems Mr Askew is playing PvD at his own game here. What he's basically done is taken the beginning part of the track until the vocal comes in, echoed the vocal a bit and then repeated the most drivng part of the tune..and for added effect added on some of his own wee bits.
It sounds rather good, I think it would be really good if it was released on the flip side of Introspection! But who knows. I'm not sure if John Askew has just made this mix for his own private use or what so I've yet to find that out. :happy2:

Apparently it was the unmastered version he played, the CD wallet he left on the bus contained the proper version hahaha :eek: |

I would have also like to be on the same bus as Askew - would have been a nice thing to pickup that cd wallet! |
